It's All Elemental
6:00 p.m., Saturday, November 2010
Alliance for the Arts

Art Royale affords artists the unique opportunity to push their limits and create beyond gallery walls and theatre stages to interact with participants through theatre, costume, dance, music, film, voice, painting, photography, fashion, sculpture, technology, culinary and multi-media. This year’s theme, IT’S ALL ELEMENTAL reflects the essence of Art Royale as an innovative showcase of art that is active, not passive, art that explores the origins and boundaries of the elements, be it, Earth, Wind, Fire, Water & Space or perhaps more.

For this piece, I worked with Katelyn Gravel, Phil Heubeck, and Brittany Brady for an exhaustion performance piece: "Decomposition."

Wooden Mouth
April 7-19, 2010
FGCU Theater Lab

A world premiere of Barry Cavin's rich and beautiful play.  I play Mr. Scratch, a happy, tap-dancing devil.  I wear tails.  I scare three-year-old girls.  I scream.  I sing.  I laugh.  But I don't cry.  Not me.  And I give wise counsel to the heroine.  Featuring the exceptionally talented Katelyn Gravel, Brittney Brady, Brad Chidester, Dan De La Rosa, Taylor Broderick, Andy Morris, and Katie Pankow.  No animals were harmed in the making of this production.  Dolls maybe, but only psychological scarring.

The above clip is just right before Act II, backstage with the actors, wrangling the talking catfish and getting in our play groove.
